Terms of Service
Last updated 13 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Gridmark at gridmark.dev and anything you buy from it. By using Gridmark or buying the brand kit, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Gridmark.
1. Who we are
Gridmark is operated by Studio 372 Pty Ltd, a company registered in Australia ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Using Gridmark
Gridmark is a tool for designing a logomark in your browser. The editor is free and needs no account. Your designs and presets are saved in your own browser, not on our servers, so clearing your browser's site data removes them.
You agree not to:
- use Gridmark to make a mark that copies or imitates someone else's logo or trademark;
- get around, or help others get around, the payment for paid features;
- interfere with the site or try to access it in a way it isn't offered.
3. The brand kit
The brand kit is a paid feature. It packages a mark you have designed into a set of files: the mark in several versions and formats, icons, social images, and a license file.
- Price. The brand kit is a single one-time payment. The price, including any tax, is shown at checkout before you pay. There is no subscription.
- What you get. Paying unlocks brand kit downloads for every mark you design in Gridmark, for as long as Gridmark offers the feature.
- Your key. After paying you receive a key. It is your proof of purchase and unlocks the brand kit in another browser. Keep it safe. It is for you alone: please don't share or publish it. We may disable a key that has been shared or refunded.
- Delivery. The brand kit is a digital product, made in your browser and available as soon as your payment is confirmed.
4. Payment
Payments are handled by Stripe through its Managed Payments service, and the brand kit is sold through Link, a Stripe company. Stripe, not Gridmark, is the merchant of record for your purchase: it takes the payment, collects any tax that applies, and issues your receipt. Its own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment and are shown at checkout. We never see or store your card details.
5. Refunds
If the brand kit isn't what you expected, email [email protected] within 14 days of buying it and we will refund you. We may disable a refunded key, but you may keep using any files you have already downloaded under the license that came with them.
This is in addition to any rights you have under consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law, which these terms do not limit.
6. Who owns what
Your marks are yours. We claim no ownership of, and no rights in, the marks you design or the files you export, whether you paid for them or not. You may use them for any purpose, commercial or personal, without crediting Gridmark. Each brand kit includes a license file that says the same.
No promise that a mark is unique. Gridmark is a generator that anyone can use, and another person may arrive at the same or a similar mark. We do not guarantee that a mark is original, that it can be registered as a trademark, or that it does not conflict with someone else's rights. Checking that is up to you.
Fonts. Text placed beside a mark is set in typefaces from Google Fonts, which are published under their own open licenses.
Gridmark is ours. The site, its code, its design and the Gridmark name remain ours. These terms don't give you any rights in them beyond using the site as it is offered.
7. Privacy
Your designs stay on your device, and we collect very little. The Privacy Policy sets out what is collected and who else is involved when you use Gridmark or buy the brand kit.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Gridmark running but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop offering the brand kit or close Gridmark, files you have already downloaded remain yours to use.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the version in place when you made a purchase applies to that purchase.
9. Liability
Gridmark is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties that are not set out in these terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or loss arising from a dispute over a mark. Where our liability can't be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that can't lawfully be excluded, including those under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and of the state or territory in which we are registered, and the courts there have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep any protections given by the law of the country you live in.
